Haha. Wow. This kid is funny. I need to get a video of all the faces he pulls, they all have names to them.
So, Dave (clipper master) and my beautician mom have cut his hair in the past but this 'salon' girl was right in town and it was kind of an impulse.?
We made it through the haircut, but it took two suckers, some licorice nibs, and a whole latta sweat & tears... I also I just lost the hair growing comp with cuzzin Liam?

Do as I'm doing
I layed Roma down for a minute while I was picking up Beck's room and he decided to stop what he was playing with and lay just like she was... With a stuffed animal for a pillow. He didn't want to move so I decided to see how long he would/could just lay next to her like that. It was a while.
She fell asleep and he about did...

Merry un-Christmas to me.
SO, maybe some of you remember, that last Christmas Dave surprised me with a sweet gift card to the Bike Shoppe in Ogden.
I ended up getting the 2.3 WSD (womens specific design) I'm a little nervous about the clip in pedal idea... But I've been practicing. Oh yes, and the spandex may take some getting use to as well.?
After so many months of being pregnant, shopping around and getting the perfect fit, here is my new ride. Woo hoo! Thankyou Dave, you've spoiled me once again.

YAY! FOR! NEW! pictures.....
I am so sad that I can't add and blog and computerize my life easier...
BUT, Here I am in centerville at the parents house and Voila! I guess I'll just dump a bunch of pics on to update a bit of what we've been up to lately.
Hopefully the purge of pics doesn't take away the enjoyment to much. It's late now and Dave has to teach those precious 8th graders tomorrow...so, we're out. much love, The Carters

Best Buddies !
These are Beckhams absolute Bestest buddies. Josh and Anna are the kids that I used to babysit and Beckham will not stop talking about them lately. We went to lunch with them yesterday and Josh taught Beck how to pull faces. It was like the best thing in the world to Beckham. But not so much for me?>..hah

The Big Beck man
Beckham has been the sweetest big brother ever. Dave and I are surprised at how much he loves Roma and isn't bothered too much by all the attention she needs. He will get bored inside our little house so I will tell him that he can go outside if he stays in the "backyard" and close. So, this is what he'll do....Sit down on the patio outside the sliding door and just play. I think it's so cute.!

OUR little Roma girl !!
Can I just say that this little girl has been so much fun! She is seriously so CUTE. Now she will COO and smile at you all the time, it is precious. I wish I had the capabilities of posting more "real" camera pics cuz she is changing so fast. WHAT a little sweetie peatie! She was 7 weeks old on Friday.

Stuck in the fast lane.
This is me in my moment of bliss, my moment of silence... and my moment of me time.. Aah. Yes. When both kids are asleep at the same time, Its a little gift from heaven. This is when a mom could get a lot done...as far as house stuff, bills, planning, Olympic watching, maybe even blogging, etc. But for my own sanity and quality of life, I usually try to soak it all up... By getting some shut eye myself.
My other time of quiet is basically right now. At 4 am while feeding the baby. Its insanely early and I'm usually zombie mode but I'm loving all the quiet time I can get, especially with the Roma girl.! (I can't sleep at the moment, so lucky you? Ha) Roma isn't quite ready either so we'll sit in the dark and blog together.

Super dad and my boy Dave started work this week. No students until next Tuesday but busy getting stuff ready. He had back to school night tonight and met all the 'cool' parents that he would be dealing with this year. He's a patient guy. Just one of the many reasons why I'm lucky.
Ok I've got to get to sleep. Catch you up another time? Good night and good morning to ya'll. TGIF baby!

B's History (*Aug.12, 2009)
I have been hunting before, plenty of times actually. I'm the oldest kid in my family and my dad is borderline looney bin about every and all types of hunting and fishing...rifle, bow, deer, elk, duck, rodents....It's ironically what keeps the man sane.
SO, being the 1st born I became his little buddy that enjoyed tagging along on many of his trips. My cousins would come along and I honestly loved the adventure and scenery. Although most of the time I was the only girl.
I took hunter's safety with some friends in 5th or 6th grade and my dad bought me a bow and arrow when I was like 12? I don't even think it was for a special occasion.? So I got my first deer tag when I was around the same age and it was for an area in Co. because you could hunt at an earlier age. I'm telling you, my dad is die hard so it didn't take too much effort on my part to have some crazy experiences. I got my first doe with a bow at like 12 or 13...then a buck the next year in Utah. (maybe I can rally up those pics for old time sake? and a laugh or two?)
SINCE THEN- I have not had the time or really a desire to go much. I may have gone twice since then...and didn't get anything.
And that would be my big game killing history.
A side sad story: during that 1st ever hunting experience I actually miss shot and hit a doe in the head that we never found and later saw that it had a fawn by it's side. I honestly thought that I would be forever traumatized. I could not believe that I had to watch something so sad that I had done.

Fresh squeezed..and not from the cow.

*Just another perk of motherhood right?
That stuff is liquid gold though...so its worth it!

ONE month in this BIG big world.
We love you Roma!
I thought this outfit was so cute on her. It was a little NB size dress/onesie. She wore it well for our photoshoot and then...next thing I knew, Poop-splosion! She was up to her ears in a mess. After a lot of soap and extra care, I think I got them both fresh and new.Work it baby. This was the very first attempt at our girls pic. And the reason why we had to take a few more. Haha. She is so tiny and squirmy..I think she puked in this one?
