Beck and Romes...
*sorry about the Fo-hawk Beck. I tried to quickly "fix" your hair and really made it crazy. You are still a handsome boy!
Our new friend Mac
That's right folks! We got a new computer. I can finally organize all of our pics and music from home. We still don't have the internet hooked up but I'm in the process of "borrowing" wireless or going halfs with a neighbor?. It's just so expensive up here because there is only one provider to choose from. SO...for now I'm celebrating for a new and improved HOME computer. YAY

What's your theory?
The festivities have officially begun..Halloween, Thanksgiving then Christmas is right around the corner. Crazy how the end of the year just flies from here on out. The snow and cold weather can be trouble at times but I am looking forward to at least one snowboarding trip.
We had our Carter Halloween party tonight and between that and an earlier trip to costco, I've had a pizza, hotdog, carmel popcorn and like 6 sugar cookies. Holy gut ache! I hardly like pizza and hotdogs and then to have them both on the same day is violent.
That's when it dawned on me that to make it through the rest of this year...an exercise theory is a must! And since I can't pass up or miss out on the delicious foods, my theory will be to exercise hard now so that I can eat back what I am losing.? It seems like a good plan to me. Except that I'm already behind two parties now.?

Sittin happy!
Dear diary,
Last night was my first time sleeping through the night. Ya I know. Big deal right? Well, mom is pretty excited about it and seems a little less zombie-like today. Which is nice. She told dad and Beck about it and they said 'GREAT' but weren't crazy nuts about it like mom. I did sleep from 1030p until 730a without one break to eat...and I didn't starve to death. Mom tells me that if I keep up the good sleeping schedule we will all go up notch on the happy scale. She also says that she would buy me a cool new toy. It may be worth it?
I guess she thinks I'm a big girl now too, cuz she put me in this chair today and sat me in front of Beckham playing play-doh. I don't do play-doh and my little body was all wiggly. I'm tough but still too small.
Ok well, I'm hungry and tired again so wish me luck on that new toy. Yawn-squeak-sigh, Roma

HaPpY BIRTHDAY Beckham!
HOLY SMOKES! Beckham is really 2 and it's not so terrible....yet. We have had a riot planning and celebrating TWO parties for him. The little guy was spoiled rotten with toys, clothes and dessert. Some of his favorites that we have been playing with non stop are his basketball hoop, train set, new Hot Wheel cars, spidey on a 4-wheeler, and his old school hammer board. There is not a dull moment with the new selection of toys. Thanks family for the good times and memories. I know he adores all of you....he tells me over lunch everyday while we look at your pics on the fridge.!
As for you my little BECK man....Here are just 10 reasons why you should win the coolest 2 year old out there!
1. You are a RED head, and a handsome one at that. I also hear they are going extinct.? So HECK yes, you are the coolest!
2. You are SO sweet and nice to your baby sister! I Love that you randomly stop playing with your toys or watching cartoons and you give her a kiss and a hug.
3. You're dad is the Rockstar in the family and he says that you can keep a beat on the drums and you've got some sweet dance moves! I probably taught you the moves though....sha right.
4. Athletic little dude! specially for only 2 years down. You throw, jump, tackle, shoot hoops and can beat your dad in an up-down contest! that's tough!
5. You help me do housework and make it more fun, even though it takes a bit longer.
6. You've always had a little Pot belly. skinny and then there it is poppin right out. hahah cute
7. Reading books is one of your favorite things to do.
8. You're creeped out by spiders but not the biggest, scariest looking dogs out there.
9. You lay on your tummy and play cars in the morning.
10. You love riding with your dad on his bike.

My kind of nap...
SO. Lots has been going on and I've been a bit on the blogging MIA list. I guess one week isn't too bad but I feel like I've neglected some mentionable events?.
Let me just start with an absolute OUT of the ORDINARY fact: I am sitting here at my friend Angela's house with NO Angela, typing on an actual computer, both kids are asleep, and I am blogging. WHAT, what. Call me crazy but I feel like I just flew the cage or something.? haha. As an understatement...It's nice!
I'll just dump some of the latest happenings in list form because I know that these kind of moments don't always last.
-At this moment half of my house is getting new, smelly-good carpet installed. Due to the sewage mahem that took place a few weeks ago. HOOT RAH for blessings in "crappy"
situations!
-Dave is off for UEA and already we've let the good times roll! We went to the Zoo for the 1st time as a family and I forgot my camera so I bought a disposable one there for, NO LIE, $16. Ouch. They'll probably all be crazy looking too?
-Roma started laughing a couple of weeks ago and I about have a heart attack every time! so cute.
-Beckham continues to be the cutest lil' big brother ever and is such a helper! He brings me napkins if he notices me itching my nose. He brings Dave and I our shoes when we are getting things ready to go. He pats Roma's head and gives her kisses when she cries and says Mom, pees(please).
-The Beckster turns TWO on monday! HOly Moly. We've already had an early party for him with the Carter's and Sunday night we will have another at my parents house. I plan on making a sweet RACECAR cake.
-As for my Blogaversary and the posts I was suggested...?My intentions are good but the ability to accomplish such a task has proved to be harder than thought. Here are TWO off the list:
Soccer:it's still in motion-we go to quarterfinals tomorrow vs Beaver. We have a good chance of winning and going on to semis the following weekend.
My Bike:I LOVE it and ride it most days to soccer practice but it unfortunately ends there. I am still waiting for the day and time to go on a ride that is 2+ miles in distance. But hey, me and the bike will be friends for a lifetime. Let's get #1 out of my schedule then #2 should step up.?
**As for the 100 things about me? and the How did Dave and I meet story? They are on the back burner for another "computer" time. Texting that kind of list and detail would cause near death.
Alright, there's the bell, the baby is stirring and I'm back to reality. She can help me post some pics so you guys can skip this list and have something to look at.

Now repeat..
Do you ever have those 'Groundhog' days where you feel like you're doing, seeing and almost repeating what happened just yesterday...or even a few hours ago? I imagine most of us are constantly doing the same things over and over. Some of the things in my groundhog day include: waking up to Beckham saying 'mom, mom, milk, milk'; rolling out of bed and fighting him to change his night time diaper while he drinks his morning milk, we watch sid the science kid while I pump and he says, 'mom, mom, top tart, top tart'; once Roma wakes up and we've all finally eaten, we play for a bit and its time to pump and do the feeding frenzy all over again. That's most days and don't get me wrong I absolutely love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for the world but you know, some days are simply just like the last.
Time for naps! And a bit of quiet for the day. Bye

Dear Roma,
3 mths old now and it has been so much fun getting to know you! You are a happy baby and very easy going. In the morning when you wake up, you just lay there cooing and smiling until I come get you. Your big brother is always smooshing his face in yours and talking to you as if you were hard of hearing...but of course you don't mind, as of now, you two are best buds.
You are anti breast feeding and prefer a pumped bottle. This has been a tough issue, for multiple reasons but we are keeping you happy and staying on top of the pumping schedule.
You require a pruney mix every few days to keep you regular. Although, yesterday marked the 3rd day in a row for a #2 which is a record. Hooray.! Crazy as it sounds, we celebrate this type of thing. Haha
Just know, that your ma and pa love every bit about you and we are so happy that you are a part of our family! You are one cutie patootie! Now Grow On! This is you watching me write this.

What did we do for Dave's 31st Birthday????
Watched football games...Dave was given tickets to the U of U vs. Oregon state game which was on his birthday. He grew up in Hillsboro, OR. and still seems to favor the state in all aspects so...he was rooting for them. BUT, if you saw or heard about the game, it was a Close close game with Utah coming away with a last-second field goal win. It was a lot of fun to be there! We left Roma with my friend Angela and took Beck with us....which was strange and sad being without her. But she was in good hands and much happier there! 45,000 crazy people cheering was a bit insane!

Then, Friday night we went to the famous rivalry game...in our little valley. North summit vs South summit. It was in Coalville and we got killed. Still a fun time.
