5 lbs 15 oz
19 inches
Adorable!!!!

By the way...PLUG for Adam...He is a great photographer as you can see and now does weddings and family shoots.. If you're interested or just want to see some of his work his web site is www.adamphotography.com

Here it comes!

It just started snowing and is predicted to snow 10+ inches in the next 24 hours. Holy moly. I'm actually pretty excited and ready to have some snow. I just hope the roads are ok by Sunday night, cuz that's we'll be traveling thru parley's canyon to grandma's in Bountiful. Driving and sliding in snow is a nightmare... And it's worse when you have a baby in the car.
That night is the traditional Trujillo cookie decorating party, that can't be missed.
I'll get some post snow storm pics and see if we really do get 10 or more inches.

Happy birthday!

Today is my daddy-o's 50th birthday.
Numbers mean nothing to this guy.. He's a young hearted, young acting, handsome looking OLD guy. Haha.
Raising 4 girls is no easy task and surprisingly he's still alive and not bald or something.

Thanks for giving me so many crazy-fun memories and experiences. Not too many girls get a bow and arrow from their dad at age 11... And then use it.

We hope you had a great 50th! Much love, Bre, Dave and lil Beck.

Won't stop me from chow time!

I heard on the news tonight that an average thanksgiving dinner takes 2 1/2 hrs of running to burn off.

Beckham and I made pumpkin cookies to add a few cals and miles to our life. Mmm ya

Thanksgiving Eve

As we prepare for thanksgiving, we may be baking goodies, making dough or crust, thawing the turkey or cooking the yams. In addition to food, it seems that we all have a guaranteed moment of reflection. A reflection, of course, of the many things we are thankful for. There are so many blessings in our everyday lives that we tend to neglect, or take advantage of. At least I find myself at times, forgeting to thank the lord for all of my daily blessings.

Here are just a few of the things I love and am thankful for:
-the friendships that I have with my extended family members as well as my immediate.
-that I married my best friend and he makes me feel beautiful all around
-the chance to be a mom!
-the true and everlasting gospel.
-living in the same state as my family
-music and a musician husband (that's always a turn on ;)
-good health
-mountains and outdoor activities...hiking, camping, fishing...
-running shoes, soccer cleats, flip flops
-holidays
-grandmas and grandpas
-mail
-pictures
-cuddleing
-good times with old friends
-laughter
-genuine people
-yams, homemade bread, cold cereal, fruit, and treats
- blogger blog blog blah

* There's a few that come to mind. Hope you all have a fantastic chow down.

Project Runway?

I've seen Heidi Klum interviewed lately about the new season of project runway. I've never seen even a snip it of the show but am now kind of curious about it. Is it pretty entertaining or major lame? If it is good, one of you cable/DVR/tivo junkies should share an episode with me. Since us Carter's lack all of thee above.
Her and Seal are kind of a hot couple.

Had to pass it along.

Turkey trot

Beckham and I just ran a 5K race. We didn't get the first prize turkey, but we won a banana split coupon, two t-shirts and lots of free breakfast food. It was a good exchange for the 3 cans of beans we brought.

The hill in the background was the toughy.

And our goods.

Love baby.

Dave brought these home for me "JUST because....." What a sweetie. Those are the best kind of roses to get, is my vote. Look closer and you'll see the boys I love back! Kinda funny picture eh?

Peace baby.

Did you know that...

-Lately, I havnt been in the mood to blog from my phone..
-Carrie Underwood is singing on tv right this second, and she is so pretty. How fun would it be to dress up like that and then sing like that?
-Beckham is walking now and it is so dang cute! He's just as impressed with himself as we are.
-so, I stumped my doctor today at my visit. The spider bites to allergic reaction to an unknown plague.?..is haunting my skin. Off to the specialist. Yay.
-Dave mentioned to me last night that he would love to talk in front of mass crowds for a job. What? I was impressed, shocked and a tiny bit jealous. Because, that would be the #1 way to torture me. I fear public speaking like my plague. Hopefully a piece of his talent will rub off on me one day.
-we had a soccer banquet last night and Jane, the head coach announced that she was ' hanging up her cleats' and retiring. SAD. I found out that night just before everyone else. I'm now a side kick with no super hero. Or something like that?
-I think some oreo icecream would do just the trick right now. Mmm! I run to take away some guilt. And it works. -bye y'all.

Taste of the future?

Will I have 5 kids one day? Hard to say for sure, but there's definately a possibility.
Dave and I were 'fill in, full time parents' for a family in our ward and it was just a glimpse of what it would be like to be that crazy.. Haha.
No, it was actually a ton of fun. The older 3 were always so helpful and nice and the younger boys, Kyle (11 mths) and Beckham (12 mths) kept themselves and everyone else very entertained.

I still think it would be a riot to have twins. Although, the diaper changing... Is a big down fall. It kind of gets old real quick.

Here's for a late Halloween post..cheers

Beckham was a scarecrow and dave and I were supposed to be the crows. But... Our bird transformation never ended up happening. Oh well.

Beck loved his first trick or treating experience. Most of the time he pointed and yelled at all the kids, then he'd laugh. The seven or so pieces of candy that he did get, went to the 'crows'. Mmm.
