You pay 5 bucks to enter and 1st place gets $75. I totally shouldve entered some of these. The girl category was so small that each would receive prize money.
Next year for sure! *Happy July festivities!
It has been an eventful month so far! Fun fun!

More Fiesta Days
ATV RodeoA little Weller girl gave Beck one of the balls being tossed. That topped it off for him. This was put on by Weller recreation, they sell and repair ATVs and such. It was kind of crazy. I knew Beckham would love all the 4 wheelers though. This last pic was the hide race event. Which tops them all in crazy and best to watch! 4 wheeler drives by, someone jumps on this tiny piece of 'hide' tied to the back and they just get dragged around the rodeo at mock speed. Holy dirt in ALL the wrong places.
Kamas fiesta days!
The Kids Rodeo. This is Beckhams 1st time on a horse and all I had was my cell phone for a pic. This is our buddy Wilder and his horse. He placed first in the ride around the poles event. I couldn't believe how many tiny kids were on giant horses that knew exactly what they were doing. Beckham's size small.

TWO weeks old.
Roma had her 2 week Dr. Appt. today and weighs 7lbs 6oz.
Doc says she looks great and all is well!
She really is the sweetest baby. I could just kiss on her all day.!*funny story: I was changing her diaper a few days ago and as usual I checked her belly button to see if her umbilical cord had fallen off or was about to. I saw that it was loose, so I moved it a tad and it came right off. Well, hooray.. I thought as I put it on the side of the changing table, I'll show Dave when he gets home from work. (its a baby mile stone right?) ok so Dave gets home hours later, I eventually remember, but as I go to show and tell,..the lil' life line scab is no where to be found. ? We looked, couldn't find it, so laughed and basically moved on.
Two days later - yes I find it....stuck to the inside of the washing machine. Haha. I had forgotten and when I saw it, I seriously thought it was a soggy raisin. All I can say is, Good thing Beckham didn't find it first.

Meet the baby GIRL
Soccer season is here.....too soon.

I'm going to "assistant" coach our Highschool soccer team agian..or attempt to. It will be a juggleing act for Dave and I trying to figure out a kid schedule. BUT, attempt I will do. SO, Last week was our Soccer Camp. I went a couple of the days to check out our skills. The Head coach will be new this season which may be interesting? Anyways, Tryouts Aug 4th. Be there or be square. Peace
Girls Campin' it.
Girls Camp this year was close to home. It was only about 10 miles up the Uintahs which was about a 15 minute drive from my house. Lucky me. If it were any further I wouldn't have been able to go to any of it. Roma is still so tiny and I'm not quite up to par so, I didn't spend the night with them. Dave was a champ, as always and watched the babe.
The first night I visited, I took Beckham with me and we roasted dogs and mallows for dinner than played some games. He instantly made friends with the smaller and hairier of the group.

Me on other hand... thought I had some friends. But still got creamed in our little war. I didn't take Beckham the 2nd night up because it was testimony mtg and I knew I was there for a long night.
The whole thing turned out great and it was fun to be back at Girls Camp, But crazy how much has changed since my last camp as a yw. That was 9 years, college, marriage, and TWO kids ago. wow!. Time flies and things change fast but I'm glad the gospel has always been a constant in my life. The church is true baby!

Grandma Julie brought a new bike!
My mom came up yesterday with lunch, dinner for an army and a bunch-o toys for Beck and the babe. She was like Mrs. Clause/Mary Poppins pulling all kinds of water toys, cups, bibs, books, diapers and more and more out of bags and boxes. It was kind of insane actually. Haha. Target will do that to a person every time.
Basically we were spoiled and Beck is in high heaven with his new bike. Thanks a million ma!
You little food pusher you. Wink wink. The key lime pie...excellent!

Catching, kissing and swimming with the fish
1st of all, let me just say that little Roma is now 9 days old and just a cutie, tiny, precious! Babies bring such a special spirit with them. Its amazing!....
Ok story time, Dave found a new fishing "hole" that is only about 3 minutes from our house. Its on a little river that runs through Kamas, I think its called beaver creek?
Anyways, He had gone a couple of times and each time he caught 4 fish. So, Friday night we were a bit stir crazy and decided to pack up the TWO kids and go fly fishing.
Soon after we got there Dave caught a fish. I didn't have my camera right then but Beckham was so excited. He was making fishy noises, touching it and even gave it a smooch. So then I got my camera.

This picture really says it all. It was so pretty. The picture may be perfect?...but about 2 minutes later, Beckham slipped and went head first into the river. No lie, I about had a heart attack. He was only under a couple seconds and Dave grabbed his feet and yanked him out but it was so sad.

We had to take off his shirt and hat and all have a little talk. He bounced pretty quick but holy moly. I think next time we'll anchor him to the shore by a life vest.

Even I caught a baby fish. Woo hoo.

After all said and done, it was a good time...here's Beckham's thoughts on the whole thing. No words needed. Haha.

The Beckster makes his move.
Beckham was the guinea pig for this new wrap that I got as a gift for the baby. It's called a Moby wrap. He thought he was pretty cool..just hanging around.

The baby was sleeping in his crib so he thought he'd show her and try out the bassinet. I looked over and he was sitting in there but once he saw me grab the camera he started climbing out. He's a monkey boy.

Two nights ago Beckham decided on his own that he wanted to give his "big boy bed" a chance. We've had it up for a couple of months now and he's never wanted to sleep in it..Until now. He stayed in there the whole night and slept in it again last night. Next step....the "Big boy Potty". Which may not be as easy?
