Our Christmas...

Merry Merry Christmas
This year was a riot to watch Beckham open his presents. He would get so excited and of course with each one we had to immediately cut, twist and pry the toy out to play with. It takes some major effort these days.

Dave spoiled me as usual, and each year he seems to forget about our little "agreement" to spend only a certain amount on each other. I opened my presents and then he pulled the "Oh, there are a couple more presents IN the tree for you." I opened two small presents, each with a gift card to the Bike Shop. This way I can size and pick out a new ROAD BIKE! I've wanted one for a while now and I cant' wait to make it happen. What a Guy!! He really is the sweetest.
-I better start thinking and surprise him with something better than a cell phone next time..haha.

The rest of the day was spent FAT and HAPPY with our families in Centerville and Ogden. We traveled a bit but it's always worth it! We're lucky to have great families within driving distance. I have a hard time with a family far far away. So this is perfect.

ALSO..Big news!
we are excited to announce that a new Carter baby is in the making! *Due date is July 8th, 2008* Woo hoo! Coming with fireworks and all!

I'm sorry about the lack of festive pics, unfortunatly I can't put them on quite yet. If we had internet at home, things would be a little different. Stay tuned and I'll try to post some later. Hopefully you all had a wonderful Holiday with your Fam and 2007 was good to you. Much love, Bre, Dave, Beck and lil' Carter.

What, what?...

Where have the days gone? and...where have I been? My picture uploading capabilities are somewhat limited at the time. so, here are some random HOT photo booth pics just taken. haha. I am at the West's house, so I have a computer to type on, which is a world better than texting my blogs.

Anyways, as for a little update, it's been pretty busy around here.

-We had Anna and Josh for a weekend because their parents went to Las Vegas to pick up their Brand New 4 door, all out Dodge Ram....that they WON in a rodeo drawing. Still can't believe it.

-Christmas party's and shopping has been on the list and continues on.

-Dave has been working like a mad man. 7 days a week and going on 15 days straight. yuck. But, he still makes time to dance and play with beck and I. Lately it's a jam to the Beach Boys. Beck loves it.

-I had my last day of scouts and my 1st Young Womens activity last wednesday. This is probably my biggest adjustment lately. I have had a great time in scouts and I'm really excited to get going with the YW....but, it is A lot. I am definately humbled and I know my testimony will grow a ton with my new calling. Don't think your ever too young to be called "Prez." The spirit works in crazy ways.

*Hopefully I can get some of our cute christmas photos on here. Beckham saw santa and decided two kids back, that santa wasn't too cool. He sat on my lap while dave and I posed with santa. It was great. Happy Holidays.

Cookie Frosting night

SAD that these are the only pics that I have of that night. Our 36 sugar cookies were frosted to perfection. Well, not all of them...This year we frosted angels, snowmen, gingerbread men, stars, trees and wreaths.
Grams always makes the frosting for everyone and it was excellent as always. I think that's what makes them THE BEST EVER EVER. Hopefully I can get some photos of everyones finished cookies laying on tables around the house. There were probably over 300 cookies.

"Rockin' around the Christmas tree"

Beckham has been loving all the decorations, lights and music that are only the beginning of Christmas. This year will be a lot of fun to see his reactions to everything else....We will be meeting santa this Friday night at our ward party. I'm guessing he may be a little creeped out?

Happy 80th B-Day gramma Bateman!

We went to her home town Tooele to celebrate.

I hadn't seen some of those Bateman's in quite a while...Check out that facial hair. YIKES.

The Carter's got "Elfed"

I couldn't help but mess around with this so, here we are doing a little jig...check it out here.

After snow fall.

Well, we definately didn't get 10+ inches. We got about 6, but still had some snow fun.
