My buddy Mac.

Poor Mac is not receiving the internet and has been causing us all grief for the past 4 days. Boo hoo! I have a jumble of good stories to be had and this blackberry makes it more difficult. I could try but there are those times that I'll spend a good amount of time 'texting' a blog and then it vanishes to cyber oblivion. NOT COOL. Which is where I'm guessing my internet went?
My neighbor, Mr. WiFi, that is really in control of Mac's fate is MIA so we all wait.
Until then, I want to share one of my new favorite reads. Which some of you, I know, are already following. It is a blog that is so inspiring and very easy to get caught up in. The address is http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ I have the link on my page as NIENIE.

It is a must read!
Basic background: Stephanie(27?) writes, originally from Utah, moved to AZ. with her husband and family. She has 4 kids, the youngest is like 2 or so.
Her husband and her where burned badly in a small plane crash just Sept. Of last year. She got the worst of it. 85% of her body. Coma for awhile. Her sisters from Utah have been taking care of the kids and updating the blog. Now she lives back in Utah to recover, heal and be close to family. She just started writing again not too long ago.
Like I said, really inspiring and she has a way with words. Anyways, read up.

Oh Bla DEE, OH bla DAH....Life goes oooonnn.

More sundays than not, I spend a good part of the day at church meetings. Dave is left at home with the kids, to feed, dress and then try to prepare his lesson that he teaches to a bunch of texting seniors. Our church starts at 12:30 now, which of course falls right into that "brain shutting down" slot called NAP TIME. Pure torture for kids but I'd say probably worse for the parents that choose to keep them awake. Church is supposed to be a peaceful, spiritual time and I've come to accept as a mother of 2 young kids, that this is now a distant dream?. Church is exhausting. Period.

A week ago, sunday, Beckham was so upset in nursery (who knows why the ladies didn't come and get Dave or I) he threw a fit, crying and bull dozing the floor until he 1-he got a pretty sweet looking rug burn on his nose and 2-just passed out asleep face down on the floor. How sad is that? I felt like a bad mom for not checking in on him or something but I was feeding kid #2 carrots and applesauce in the foyer across the way. That was by far his worst experience but I'm just saying, to be an active member with young kids is a struggle. Even when your kid does decide(get forced) to stay in nursery.
When the closing prayer is said and one of us stops chasing Beckham through the church...we always look at each other with googley eyes and say "Welp, there's another one down."

As I said, more times than not, it's rough.

I remember being a kid and not wanting to brush my teeth, make my bed or do my homework. And, I think of my mom telling me that "sometimes we do things that we don't always want to do!." But we do them because we know that we're supposed to and we will become a "healthier, more responsible, smarter..." person because of it. I know that going to church is where I am supposed to be and I know that my family will be happier and blessed by doing so. Even if I do only get bits and pieces of the lessons or talks, I feel an honest confirmation that I'm in the right place and doing what the lord would have me do.
I guess I just wanted to put it in writing, so that maybe I could look back on it when I'm about crazy and asking myself, "Why?"

*I also believe that things that are right are often times harder to do.
"He never said it would be easy, He said it would be worth it."

Now the original reason for this post is seen below:
This is Live Footage and photos of the super Roma on one of the Sundays that DAD picked out her clothes. I think it's cute to get home and see what outfit he's put her in.

can you hear me?

Nap, exercise, computer.?

Lately these are my 'hobbies' I choose from when and if the house falls silent. Today I choose nap. One too many tantrums fried my brain right into sleep mode. Time for a recharge. Aah. Yes. Good night.

Roma and the Carter boys

These pictures were taken last sunday during the super bowl. I thought they were pretty cute. Roma was being so smiley. Then when I tried to get a picture with her we couldn't get the big smile. and yes..the football game was pretty good too. Go Steelers.? meh? I didn't get that excited this year for some reason? and I thought half time was kind of lame too. Bruce is over rated in my book.

Here's a Re-Post from Facebook..

For all those that didn't see some random facts about me.. Here are 25 of them. I changed a couple of them up a bit.

1. I'm random Period.

2. I love to sweat...for a good reason. Such as sports, running, hiking....and so on.

3. I hate to sweat when it's just a plain scorcher of a day or when I'm nervous. That is the worst feeling.

4. I ALWAYS mix my cereal. Usually it's Mateys with something else, like cheerios, raisin bran, or cinna toast crunch? mmm

5. I say that I am a border line red meat HATER, but whenever I eat it I usually enjoy it. I think I just hate the look of meat in general so it turns me off.

6. I hate doing things the way that they are "supposed" to be done. I like creativity in all things because it keeps things different and fun. Same old thing drives me crazy.

7. The rain is a precious thing. I love the smell, sound, and how it reminds me of Oregon. Rain on the tent is the best. Rain in the tent, not so much.

8. Dancing and singing is a must at various times throughout my day. Dave says I dance like a muppet and I know I'm not an American Idol but I still bust it out like I'm a super star. I dream big.

9. Running outside in the sun while jamming to my pod has got to be one of my favorite things to do.

10. I love getting new technology, setting it up and trying to figure it out. Computers, IPods, phones and what nots.

11. Lately I dream about the end of the world. ..and it's brought me closer to my husband because he lives the end of the world??

12. I used to have LONG hair and I would get out of the shower and flip it like a head banger. It caused me my only stitches. ..UNTIL I had children that is.

13. My dad bought me a bow and arrow when I was like 12 or something? I've shot a doe and a buck with it.

14. My grandma taught me how to make bread and I LOVE to make it now. I've even made pink and blue bread.

15. I have a REALLY close family..immediate and extended. They are all so fun to be around.

16. I've never had braces or glasses. But I always wanted a retainer and glasses in jr. high. How jealous was I that my friends had the sweetest looking sparkly colored retainers and cutesy glasses? Very

17. I had full on long dred locks once for six months. They are a lot harder to maintain than you'd think. I still showered every day but only washed my hair once a week. Dave would spend A LOT of time helping me with the process. salt water, blow dry, elastics, wax, flat iron, rolling and twisting those babies. I even saved a couple after I cut them off.

18. I hate cats and I'm allergic to them. My husband is trying to talk me into "one day" having one. He even mentioned a hairless one. Even worse.

19. I was flyfishing once and got the hook stuck in my right eye. It hooked the layer of my cornea, had a barb on it, yet still miraculously worked it's way out right before surgery.

20. I have a mind set that we only have one life to live so live it and live it GOOD. Try everything just to mark it off the list. Dave jokes with me and says, it's called Breona.com

21. Being a mom is by far the best thing I've done. I Love how teachable kids are and in turn how much they teach you. I've been tested in ways I never thought possible. Patience is a whole other story when you are a sleep deprived Zombie.

22. I was in a dance group called RazzMaTazz from age 3-7. I wore red sequins with white tassels hanging from the wrists and waste. It was Hot.

23. When I hear Dave play the guitar and sing or even write words to songs...I STILL get all cheese ball tastic. Basically the musical attribute was a winning factor for him.

24. I played soccer for Weber State University and I met Dave at my Freshman soccer banquet. I may just have to write a Vday post about those details?

25. I'm almost done reading the last book of the Twilight series..Breaking Dawn and so many parts of it are just plain psycho. I can just imagine the movie. Bella spewing blood and that whole baby/vampire process. INSANE-O.
