Lava Hotsprings 09

I found this post "saved" and unpublished so I thought I would add a few more pics and put it up.

This is our annual extended family camping trip. We went early July this year and as always we had a blast. Gramps owns property on the Lava Ranch and my family has been making these yearly trips since I was born.
We all look forward to our time together. We ride bikes, 4wheelers, motorcycles, play endless games, sing and play around the fire ( this year dave brought his guitar and violin), go swimming, hot pots and eat delicious meals!!!

Beckham was in HEAVEN with all the 4 wheelers, the motorcycles and we brought his little balance bike that he cruised all over camp on.

I love that when we're in a rush I can hand Roma a chkn nugget and a fry and not worry about anything... Besides a grease attack or future high cholesterol?!

Crazy, what you can get yourself into if your not careful. Or have a die hard hunter for a dad! This was on our way to centerville, my parents backyard, to practice shooting. More on that later.

Kamas 5K fun run!

It was a good time. Only $10 to run and we came away with this sweet prize for taking 1st in our division.

The kids and I woke up early this morning and went for a little run. Dave had to be to work so we were on own.
I was worried that waking the kids up at 6 would equal bad moods, but they were great sports! I think the Go Gurts did the trick.

I decided that having a birthday on the 4th of July would be SO fun. It's always a happening time and who doesn't like parade, BBQs and fireworks? We had a great day and Roma absolutely loved all the action.
It was great to have another reason to be with family and friends. We Love you Roma girl! and of course always think about and miss my lil Bro Jay on this day as well.
To start out we went to:

Beckham would be front and center for the candy ...but still could not manage to get ANY. He needs some parade practice.


FIRST stop. BBQ and party at my mom and Dads house in Centerville. Great weather for an outdoor feast.



Little cake I made Roma to get messy in....Which was the best part. She was classic


Beckham ate a little cupcake while she was destroying her cake so he felt special too. Cute lil cheeser.

Big messy KISS. Beckham thought it was HILARIOUS that Roma had frosting all over her face.


He'd point, laugh and say LOOK papa, Roma's a mess. Then he'd tell someone else.

This is a bouncy horse that hooks up to the TV and interacts with each bounce...letters, sounds, colors...Say goodbye to building blocks and books. This is 2009.?

Thanks for all the great gifts and company! We wore the kids right out and had an easy ride home.

I'm just not that into you?

Blog vs. FB? The whole facebook and uploading pics there has seemed to be so much easier these days? I'm losing the time and umph to Blog....as of late? I think my step one which I am going to accomplish in this post, is to GO UNDER....join the secret, my club only bloggers? and make the Carter Express a Private ride? I'm going to see if this will change things up a bit and make it easier for me to take a more personal side of blogging IF and when I want to?. Plus I just want know who's peepin in and such.
