Happy Easter Part one.

Saturday morning we had celebrated at Dave's parents. Lynne always has the house set up so cute and the "plan" for the day figured out to a T. I'm telling you, If it were between her and Martha...It would be a tough competition.
First there was an indoor egg/present scavenger hunt. Each kid was had a certain color egg they were after and all went in a different direction. This has been a tradition for the last 2 or 3 yrs. The kids are nuts about it and get some fun gifts!

We ventured outside for the backyard hunt. Grandpa place 100 or so candy filled eggs all over.

Aunt Ann brought each cousin a can of silly string for a crazy war.

We had a fabulous lunch and an egg coloring competition to top it all off. Here are Beckham and Roma with just some of their loot for the day. Luckily Lynne added a new toothbrush in the mix of gifts...We were all cavity creeps and proud of it.

Vintage accessories that I'm loving.

Since I'm large and not really into my "active" hobbies these days. My birthday last month was mostly money and gift certificates to use at a later time-post baby. Well I found these little gems here and sent myself a present. Check out the store. So fun.

Say what?

I decided that kids ages 2-5 are SO entertaining. I would love to freeze my little midgets in time right now. They are dang cute of course but say and do the funniest stuff these days. I like the idea of keeping them innocent as long as possible and actually at home with me.
The whole school thing lately doesn't sound as great as I thought. I was talking to one of my friends yesterday about her 7 yr old girl, a first grader, and things that she is already having to talk about. KIDS, at recess have you, are already saying to each other that they want to have....S-E-X with so and so and including details. AAAAHHHH. I about died.
I'm not totally in shock about it but close. That is super young to be having that conversation with your kid.?
Crazy.
My parents never had an official, sit me down chat about that stuff but I do remember it coming up a few times. They would take that opportunity to elaborate a bit and then drop it. I also remember my dad trying to explain to me how babies were made, when I was probably that age. I guess it depends on the kid, their maturity, questions, and so forth, but is an official chat necessary now days.? YIKES.

Back to the freezing my little midgets idea-I'm all for it. ...They both are such a fun age right now. Beck 4 1/2 and Roma almost 3.

Beckham will ask Dave and I all sorts of "easier" questions and then elaborates more and more about the subject.
For instance, the other day we were driving in Park City and he asked why we have sidewalks. So Dave told him, how we can walk and ride bikes on them without being in the road and that its a safe place away from all the cars. Beckham thought about it then said, Ya, well, what if your just sitting on the corner of the sidewalk playing your Leapster and someone on their bike comes and runs right into you? He's so serious too.
We both couldn' t help laughing.
He wants the details about everything. Why do we have skin? Why is it so hard, like you can't rip it off? Why are there good germs? Are there germs in my eyeballs?
I had a little brother that passed away when I was 11 and him and Roma both now about Uncle Jay and how he died and his spirit is in heaven.
Beckham will randomly say in his prayers-Bless that Jay will come back to life soon. And that we can see him again. Kids prayers are the sweetest. Roma even will say thankful for Heavly Fawder, for Jesus, for the bok of moemon, to eat healthy all day,,,,,Cutest little voices that really bring such a spirit.
Roma is very expressive with her face and eyes. Understanding peoples feelings and speaks so well.
This new little baby is going to be smothered by mother Roma and Big bro Beckham. They both have always loved to love on little babies.

One of the hard things about bringing home a new baby ...is that the "babies" you already have become SO much bigger and older. Which I know is just as exciting to watch them grow up but also such a shocker at really how FAST it happens.

Writing and Spring Break haps

It's true.
Writing/blogging is hard...for me at times. Whether its to an unknown audience on the "intra-web" as my Dave likes to call it or even writing in a personal journal, it has its seasons.
I decided that I LOVE to think deeply and with detail about things. I'm a psych major for crying out loud but that's the thing. I DON'T LOVE to cry those things out loud to anyone.?? I feel like those type of people...in my opinion, are often times cheesy to the max, over analysts, long winded, and toooo caught up in the thick of life. But, hold on, I also believe that these people are super courageous to feel confident enough to write and express their true feelings. Mostly I'm pointing my fingers at the the full on bloggers out there.
I have a hand full of blogs that I read close to daily..and honestly the ones that I enjoy the most are the ones that do express day to day life emotions and happenings. Good writers of course make it easier to read but also when you read other's ideas that spark your own views on things. Makes it fun.

Anyways....My point is, I want to write more. More often and more of the SHTUFF that I'm thinking.? Without the worry, or personal "that was too much info" idea and just dare to WRITE whatever. If its deep or not.
I envy that courageous release of TMI for the possible benefit of not just myself.

OK. Its on. There's my self talk all written out for me to re read and think about. I'm feeling like this may just be my remedy- Spilling my guts to all the weirdos out there and you...hahah. *Actually just documenting more is a good goal!*

**I like to write but I LOVE to have written and re read later. Life is just too full of details to only live them once. SOOOO,
now I just need to MAKE writing a priority and FIND the time each day. We shall see.??

Today it's the week in bullets:
Spring Break 2011 and being 36 weeks prego.
We had a stay-cation and it was fabulous. Dave was home ALL week.

+Monday I helped my mom shop and set up stuff in her new place...More on that later. But very exhausting, mentally and physically. Dave had kids all day and had a blast.
+Tuesday morning was dentist appts. for Dave, Beck and Roma. Beckham(4 1/2) got his 1st cavity filled and was a star. Had shots and everything. Dave and I were worried for him but he pulled it off brave as brave. They had Roma (2 1/2) smile and everyone got their prizes.
+Tuesday afternoon Dave had a Dr. Appt. to get his big toenail ripped off. It was jammed and purple and growing crazy so he's starting over. Lots of pain and sweat for him.
+Wednesday we chilled around town. Watched Tron, took naps and I got my 1st ever blood clot. I've had horrible varicose veins this pregnancy but only down the whole of my left leg. I went to stand up and had death pain behind my knee that led me to feel this hard ball of a clot. CREEPY. My doc is out of town till monday. I you tubed info which isn't always the greatest idea. ..Long story-short: called the ER twice decided I was fine. Would wait for any changes and make a later appt.
+Thursday traveled to Ogden to visit our some favorite friends Marc and Sariah that just had a new baby Odis. From there we continued on to Tremonton for nephew Calvin's 6yr old soccer game and bday party. My leg was in pain but same as before. I was still creeped.
+Friday Made a Doc. appt. that morning to Rule ALL creepy life threatening things out. I had a venous ultrasound which came out positive. Meaning my Deep Veins looked fine. I will see my Doc. when he is in town Monday to discuss further action. I also got a sneak peak at the baby again. She was still a GIRL, had chubby cheeks and the lady claims she had hair on her head. CUTE. Later we all went to Park City to eat dinner and shop for new shoes and summer clothes for kids.
LAST NIGHT AND TODAY--my one clot turned into 3. I've talked to Doc and a vein clinic.
The clots are all located on the outer side of my leg, behind and above my knee pit. Makes me crazy! So anxious! and in pain. I just have to watch for any changing signs of swelling, pain, location and of course breathing issues. Which how could you not have breathing issues when you're freaked out.

I have heard that #3 kid is a the clencher, the hard one, the one that almost put me over the top....from many moms. I thought they only meant the baby once she was out. For me, this pregnancy has been the hardest. Maybe that means baby will be Easy peasy angelic? HAha. We're excited to have her here no matter what! 3 weeks and counting!!
