Hanging with the 8th grade germs.
This is us right now. We're totally chillin in Dave's classroom, watching idol, coloring, skate boarding, playing drums and loading up on his candy. I remember the days of no home computer and having this school computer being my only means to blogging, besides of course the blackberry. .
I wrote many a blog from this computer while Beckham would watch an Einstein movie and eat crackers. It was awesome.
We are waiting for the high school baseball game to finally end. They play right outside the back door of his classroom. I can hear them cheering from inside. Dave is the assistant so this is us showing are true school spirit? haha. Really we've been here FOREVER...it's like 4th or 5th inning of J.V. I like baseball, but it is LOOOOOOONG. and sometimes kind of boring. Especially when the outfielders look like they're going to fall asleep.
Dave loves it!!! and is a GREAT coach for those boys. They all love him and think that he's pretty dang hilarious. I laughed at first but think it's pretty cute that he has to dress in uniform just like the boys.
OK.. WOW. We've got to get out of here. Colored arms, spilled mangos and soynuts, wet clothes and toys everywhere. OH gosh. Bedtime, coming right up. Later. dudes.

Can't get enough of this!
We're all having such a great time! The Oregon coast has by far the most beautiful driving, scenery, and beaches!
At this moment I'm parked along the 101 at this Manzanita beach lookout with Roma. She had an end of the world melt down while we were all happily shopping so I decided to take her on the ride to dreamland while the boys continued browsing and going to the beach. Not in the original plans but this view and this little time out from the world is what everyone needs after a kid melt down! wow! I wish I could beam you all here to see this place! For Oregon the weather has been very nice to us! No rain and warm.
My friend Sara is driving up from Corvalis right now to chill with us and the kids. She's an amazing photographer and wants to take pics of the kids on the beach. I can't wait. let's hope their both happy by then. Welp. Enough of the phone. I got to get this all in while I can!

Road trippin.
Alright, we're on our way. Off to the Oregon coast.
Google maps tells me that it'll be 6 1/2 hours to our hotel in ID, then another 8 1/2 to Manzanita, OR. That's what?? 15 hours. Without kids. Without stops. Without Dave driving. Woe baby, this will be one long awesome adventure! We really are so excited to visit some of our favorite beaches, places and see our old friends and houses. Its been 6 years since we were there. Granted, we did live there a short year, we made life long memories!
I'm keeping the cell phone blogging alive so stay tuned for some bad pics and short updates. That's what I'm good at these days?
Wish us luck in traveling.... I'm sure we'll need it. spring break twenty ten baby!!

Big elk enchiladas
I just finished eating this and honestly it was good stuff! Dave isn't here to say otherwise. He's not a huge fan of wild animal meat. .. But the kids ate it up, which was awesome. :) I think he'll be a fan this time though..mmmm.
I'd bet it would be hard to eat something that you actually had a relationship with or I guess spent a fair amount of time with. Like a cow, pig or chicken.? I wouldn't know.
This elk was up close and personal with me but only for a bit, and mostly after it had passed on. I'm glad we didn't really bond.
