Thanksgiving Eve.

I have so much to be thankful for at this time! It's been an absolutely amazing year. Having a new baby in May, new house in September and so many blessings weaved in between! I am overwhelmed with gratitude. !
I again have been out of touch with my updates here. It stuns me over and over again at how fast time does fly on by.
I am in a haze of happiness with being a mom and a wife. I'd have to say that the ages of Beckham(5), Roma(3) and Harper(6mths) are so entertaining and FUN. I try and memorize our days, the things they say, how they laugh and smile, the messes they make and things they ask and their new tricks ...because, well these things will pass and we'll be on to the next crazy stage.

I sit here for a bit listening to some early Christmas music in an otherwise quiet house. Dave has the older two at the park and lil' Harper is fast asleep.
This last Sunday was Stake conference for us and it was bit different than I've ever experienced. Since we recently moved into this area, I'm not sure when the members were assigned, but each(LDS) member of our stake was asked to prepare a 10 minute talk on any subject they'd like. Then at Stake Conference the president would randomly call on some to share their talk. SERIOUSLY. And, Dave and I didn't prepare a talk..at least I don't think he did, but I figured I wouldn't be called on, having just moved in and being under the radar a bit. At least thats what I thought, and luckily I was right.
This spirit at this conference was so strong. Everyone was more attentive, a little anxious and I think everyone felt like we were in the same boat/shoes. The talks that were given were from some old and some young. Good planned talks.
Dave sung in the Stake choir and had a nice, peaceful time up on the stand. I on the other hand, had the kids eating suckers and walking the halls. They did great, but sometimes the info I get is limited.

I've been thinking about something that I caught at the end of a man's talk. He was saying that everyone of us has problems or trials in our lives. Some big, some small and some so big that they seem impossible to pull ourselves out of. He told of a friend that was driving his huge CAT tractor or something next to a canal and he drove to close to canal causing the tractor to fall down into the walls of this canal. He said that he now had a 2 1/2 ton problem. They ended up anchoring the tractor to some concrete above and driving the tractor out.
The point was that: it doesn't matter how big or small your trial is...what matters, is how STRONG your anchor is. I loved this.

I know that if we are anchored securely to the gospel of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that we can pull through and achieve ANYTHING! I'm thankful for that reminder. Happy Thanksgiving. I'm off to bake my 4 dozen rolls. MMM yum.

Love these kids with their big smiles!

Under cover besties

Home from church.

This little girl is so dang cute! Her cheeks are getting gooshier and scream kiss me now.! And that little bald head and toothless smile I can't get enough of!
I'm beginning to have a sense of worry or anxiety that she is changing too fast. Meaning, I can't suck it all in fast enough and the WHAT IF.... This is my last???? Our last??? I want to pause sometimes and just make sure I get a good loooong time to spend with my kids at these ages!! Ya, ya,we've all said and heard it before... "time flies!"
And boy does it!!
Today, I'm happy and humbled to have 3 healthy  kids that give Dave and I both some of the best moments... And yes, sometimes worst moments life can give!!! Heres a picture of a "moment" when Harper lee bombed out her diaper onto my lap.
