Say what?

I decided that kids ages 2-5 are SO entertaining. I would love to freeze my little midgets in time right now. They are dang cute of course but say and do the funniest stuff these days. I like the idea of keeping them innocent as long as possible and actually at home with me.
The whole school thing lately doesn't sound as great as I thought. I was talking to one of my friends yesterday about her 7 yr old girl, a first grader, and things that she is already having to talk about. KIDS, at recess have you, are already saying to each other that they want to have....S-E-X with so and so and including details. AAAAHHHH. I about died.
I'm not totally in shock about it but close. That is super young to be having that conversation with your kid.?
Crazy.
My parents never had an official, sit me down chat about that stuff but I do remember it coming up a few times. They would take that opportunity to elaborate a bit and then drop it. I also remember my dad trying to explain to me how babies were made, when I was probably that age. I guess it depends on the kid, their maturity, questions, and so forth, but is an official chat necessary now days.? YIKES.

Back to the freezing my little midgets idea-I'm all for it. ...They both are such a fun age right now. Beck 4 1/2 and Roma almost 3.

Beckham will ask Dave and I all sorts of "easier" questions and then elaborates more and more about the subject.
For instance, the other day we were driving in Park City and he asked why we have sidewalks. So Dave told him, how we can walk and ride bikes on them without being in the road and that its a safe place away from all the cars. Beckham thought about it then said, Ya, well, what if your just sitting on the corner of the sidewalk playing your Leapster and someone on their bike comes and runs right into you? He's so serious too.
We both couldn' t help laughing.
He wants the details about everything. Why do we have skin? Why is it so hard, like you can't rip it off? Why are there good germs? Are there germs in my eyeballs?
I had a little brother that passed away when I was 11 and him and Roma both now about Uncle Jay and how he died and his spirit is in heaven.
Beckham will randomly say in his prayers-Bless that Jay will come back to life soon. And that we can see him again. Kids prayers are the sweetest. Roma even will say thankful for Heavly Fawder, for Jesus, for the bok of moemon, to eat healthy all day,,,,,Cutest little voices that really bring such a spirit.
Roma is very expressive with her face and eyes. Understanding peoples feelings and speaks so well.
This new little baby is going to be smothered by mother Roma and Big bro Beckham. They both have always loved to love on little babies.

One of the hard things about bringing home a new baby ...is that the "babies" you already have become SO much bigger and older. Which I know is just as exciting to watch them grow up but also such a shocker at really how FAST it happens.

Holy smokes.... That is so scary about the 1st graders. I don't even want to think about that. That is so sad that this world has gotten so bad. Heaven help us. I agree that this age of kids is fun. Tyler always says the cutest things. Cute pics !!!
