Our last outing before the baby

We took a little drive up the Uintahs to walk around the river.

Happy 4th of July baby!

We are so happy to announce our new addition to the family. She is finally here! Healthy and beautiful!

*Roma Carter* was born at 3:40am on July 4th. She didn't exactly fire cracker right out but the labor was very short and quick when compared to her big brother Beckham's. It was a great way to celebrate the holiday!
She weighed 6pds 10oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.

Her hair is dark brown and she is a happy healthy baby. Which is most important!

Beckham is absolutely thrilled to have a little baby to hug and kiss. He's a bit obsessive at times but tries to be gentle.

I'm exactly one week away from my due date and I go from feeling either pretty good, or major uncomfortable, irritable, blobish, and HOT hot HOT. Its basically the 'hurry up and wait' stage which is making me a bit manic as I've described. The lack of AC is also a factor. .Major!

I gotta get out of this hot mug of a house soon anyways. Gah! My eyes feel like they're swelling right out of my head.
*Oh ya, on Thursday Doc. Said I was effaced 80% and dialated to a 1.

Dave's fathers day present finally came

The original kid seat that I bought and had on time didn't fit his cruiser so here's the snazzy green one that he wanted instead.

Beck loves his new helmet and ride so much that its a huge ordeal/tantrum when its time to get off. It does look pretty fun though.! They should make an adult version of most baby kid stuff. Maybe its just me? But those bouncers and the swings with the music would be nniiicce.

Dave's classroom/school has been one of our favorite places to play at since he started working there. His classroom is nice and airconditioned, unlike our house. It has a tv, computer, drum set, guitars and the soon to be Carter family band.!.. Haha, we're just waiting for the new baby to be a back up singer. Ya right and the mom to get some kind of musical skill.
Anyways, this is our daily morning hangout and the majority of our time is spent running around outside. This morning Beck was loving the boomerang.

*A big dump truck drove around the school close to where we were standing and Beckham stopped to stare and wave at him. The guy driving honked his Thunderous horn at us like 3 long blows and Beck seriously about blew over and we both peed a little.
I looked up at him and he was cackeling like his day was now 1000 times better. I guess it was pretty funny.
