Movie Monday...

I dedicated a couple videos to my mom last year on her bday (which can be viewed here)....because she is SO fun and words can't always describe. SO, here is another video, LATE and A very OLD one but still MOM none the less. ...LOVE you mom. You really are a riot at all times!

Bend it like Beckham?

Seriously this lil guy is too cute.! He absolutely Loves sports. Anything with a ball really. His favorite is probably Basketball. He plays Bball ALL the time with his Little Tikes hoop. He has some soccer balls but whenever we play with them he says that he need a soccer net. Over and over, I need a soccer net.
So, I finally just ordered him one online.
When he was born, my aunt Gloria went all out and bought him 3 different "Beckham" soccer jerseys. An England tiny one, the one he has on and an official regular sized jersey as well. He's worn the small ones before but not for a long time. When the goal was delivered to our house and he saw a little soccer boy on the front of the box with his soccer clothes on, he had to have his. I thought it was going to be too small but it fits him perfect. So, Here he is in all his glory. THE Beckster himself. He wears it ALL the time now.





We've had the goal for a week or so now and he's started back with playing basketball almost full time.
I've been reading him a kids book about Michael Jordan that he loves. Maybe he needs a #23 jersey for bball too. I don't know but it is so fun to watch him pick up on sports and be so coordinated for such a little guy.

Stop and smell the flowers..

My 27th bday came and went and it was great.
-Dave wrapped my present all nice and huge with my name spelled out in cut out letters across the front of the package.
-He surprised me with 3 pair of cute Jcrew capris
-Mom came up and watched the kids while we went to eat
-Mom's car broke down
-We waited 2 hours and finally left before the toe truck even got there
-Giant snow storm through parleys and all over, SO mom ended up having a slumber
-Overall, I had 3 cakes and many cupcakes, which I ate most of.
-And my madre brought this awesome bouquet up for me with a loot from Costco
Thankyou Thankyou for the cards, calls, visits and messages that I Loved. It's nice to have a birthday. I'm blessed to have such great people around me. Salaam and good evening to you. hah

Happy Un-birthday to....ME!

This is a pre-celebration with the Carter's that we had on Sunday. My birthday isn't for another 18 hours and I've already been spoiled with presents,cards and mail. I'm lucky these days.


Lynne re-lit the candles three or four times for Beckham to blow out, he couldn't get enough. Although he did get a little too close once and nearly singed his model eye lashes off.



*One thing that I'm looking forward to, that's on tomorrow's bday agenda, is a night out with Dave! I can't even tell you how excited I am about it! Dinner and a Movie alone...with a free babysitter. Now that's a good Birthday treat. My sweet mom will be coming here to watch the kids for us. I can't wait.*

Birthday Bonanzas!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LAIRD!
This is my cousin Trisha's boy and he is too cute. He was born on Leap Day so I guess he gets an "unbirthday" until he's 4. Me and the kids happened to be in town so we joined the celebration. Beckham had the best time watching him devour his cake and helping him open presents.

My last post lead me to unbury some really old pics.
Most were burned onto cd's from my film camera and the rest were from our first digi cam.
Dave and I hadn't seen most of them since they were taken (4+yrs) and we were having some good laughs.
There is a disc full of short video clips as well that are probably worth a post?.
Anyways the pictures from Oregon sparked a memory of a website that I created while living there. Did you ever make those free websites from geocities? I thought that this would be a great way to stay in touch. Instead of emailing, friends/family that were interested could look for themselves. Then I could change it up every so often kind of like a blog?
I got on the computer and tried to google what I could remember about the address. No luck.. after a phone call to my mom and more brain hacking I found it.
This website was and is ridiculous.! I hope you enjoy.
